Everest Base Camp Trek
Location: Khumbu Himalaya, Nepal 17,500 ft.
Join renowned Polar Adventurer and Expedition guide for a trek to Everest Base Camp base - eventually reaching an altitude of over 17,000 feet. Easily the journey of a lifetime, we will slowly make our way through some of the most pristine and stunning places in the world.
Meeting in Kathamndu, we fly to a small Sherpa village of Lukla to begin the trek. Along the way we will stop and rest in small villages and tea shops while taking in breath taking views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse and of course, Everest.
The more hearty in the group will have the opportunity to spend a night at base camp - expedition style. Hiking to Everest Base camp is non-technical walk and is suitable for beginner and advanced. However, great care must still be made to acclimatize safely to the extreme altitude.
